SEO Hollywood is committed toward clearing out the mystery surrounding search engine optimization. We are an SEO user group for the southern California SEO community. SEO Hollywood doesn't stop there. We are also committed to providing a half hour show every week discussing SEO. SEO stands for search engine optimization. Which really encompasses more than just optimizing your site so the search engines will rank you high on certain search terms. If any of this is not something you're familiar with, I invite you to watch a few episodes of our show SEO Hollywood.
True, you must optimize your site so that you will be found by the search engines and that is a very important start, but you must also position yourself in relation to and throughout the internet so that you can achieve the attention that you deserve and want. SEO Hollywood is interested in getting hits to your page. That's it.
If you own a business, you have no doubt received phone calls and emails from prospective search engine optimizers claiming they can get you much higher results in web traffic. Perhaps they can. I can tell you from experience, that many of these companies are full of hot air. The truth about Search Engine Optimization is that is takes very precise work and a very specific strategy that is intelligently laid out and executed. It's all about getting hits to your page and converting them into sales, donations or just getting your message across to a large group of people.
Many of these so-called SEO masters just use what I call the "shotgun method" to try to achieve results. Google and the other search engines are much too smart and way too sophisticated for the scattershot methods of the past. It used to be people just put every keyword they could think of into the code of their page. This worked for a while. Not anymore. So don't waste your time and money struggling to get hits to your page, and coming up with none. Join our group and we'll all get to the bottom of how to drive traffic to your site so your business can thrive.
